I must confess, I love chips of all shapes and sizes, but my absolute favourite is French Fries. I know they are horrendously unhealthy but they are my guilty pleasure. French Fries are originally from Belgium, they were introduced into America in 1801 when Thomas Jefferson was president. It’s funny we refer to them as french fried but in France they call them Pomme Frites or Frites! I don’t know about you but whether you call them Fries or Frites I love them.
