Often, in the desire to humanize our loyal companions, we feed them some foods that are actually more suitable for humans and other animals. But what we fail to realize is that they are very unsuitable for canine meals, causing some pretty serious conditions. Here are ten of the most foods your dog should never eat, but we humans seem to give them anyway and we also go into what problems they can cause.

Chocolate, coffee, tea and caffeinated products

These foods contain caffeine and theobromine, substances that act on the nervous system and heart and may be harmful to a dog. The most harmful are dark chocolate and baked chocolate, which can also cause a deficiency in vitamin B1.

These foods contain large amounts of fat and affect the gastrointestinal tract and liver and can cause diarrhoea.
